基礎フィールドワーク実習は、2019年度まで京都大学笹ヶ峰ヒュッテにおいて開講されていました。
内容紹介
京都大学笹ヶ峰ヒュッテ（新潟県妙高市：標高1300mの高原）において、生物観察や火打山（標高2462ｍ）登山や夜間のビバーク体験（戸外での緊急露営）を通して、フィールドワークの基礎となるサバイバル技術を学ぶ。

Sasagamine International Workshop for Comparative Cognitive Science
This is the 3rd Sasagamine International workshop: The first one was held in 2010 as the satellite symposium for IPS 2010 Kyoto. The second one was held in 2014 as the satellite for IPS 2014 Hanoi. Both have focused on the tool use in nonhuman primates. The third one 2015 will look for the evolutionary origins of human mind in a broader perspective.
